Lurgan Show looks to the Future with sustainability

LURGAN SHOW COMMITTMENT TO WASTE REDUCTION & THE ENVIRONMENT 

Lurgan Show Society are fully aware of reducing the negative impact on the planet and society and want to take action. 

Lurgan Show 2025 will be a more sustainable event and when it comes to recycling and protecting the environment, Lurgan Show wish to take action in reducing the amount of waste going to landfill from the Show.  

From food waste to the ongoing blight of plastic, recycling remains one of the most effective ways we all have of protecting our precious environment and wildlife for future generations.

Reducing, reusing and recycling waste are important factors in the fight against climate change.

PLEASE TAKE YOUR WASTE HOME for RECYCLING or why not use the recycling facilities available within the Showgrounds. 

In addition; think how you are travelling to the event; public transport; bicycle or by foot are all better for the environment!

Materials used for the event will be re-used from year to year and our signage is from PVC products and fully recyclable!

- Attendees have a choice of how to travel

- Incorporated green inititatives such as PVC free signage

- Re-using materials

- Minimising waste

- Educating attendees

By making conscious, informed decisions, we all can create a 2025 Show which will have a minimal negative effect on our planet and our community.
